Neighborhood garage

Marburg Avenue Nordend

The “Allee Nordend” neighborhood garage offers space for cars and bicycles.

In the context of the “Allee Nordend” construction project, in which, among other things, five modern residential buildings with 194 residential units were built, some for students at Marburg’s Philipps University, Huber Parking realized the three-story parking garage with 154 parking spaces for S+S Grundbesitz.

With six half-levels in split-level construction, it extends to a total length of 83 meters. Barriers ensure access for the user group. Due to the proximity to the Kassel-Frankfurt railway line, it was decided to transfer the load using 56 bored piles. The facade facing the railway area consists of flat bar mesh to minimize risks to the railway line. End faces with perforated metal cassettes and a facade front with colored slats on Neue Kasseler Straße complement the design. This, combined with high levels of light, ensures an attractive interior.

Photovoltaic system

Two integrated stairwells made of prefabricated reinforced concrete elements optimise accessibility. A special highlight: the roof contains a photovoltaic system. This not only protects the vehicles and structure from the weather, but also highlights the commitment to sustainable energy generation.
